So he heads up the stairs to the deck.
"Hey Trouble."

They're drinking a coffee and looking unflappable as usual.
"So, what is that the network would find unable to communicate?"

Trouble lifts their eyebrows in a way that says 'good luck', but simply says:
"Go on."

He raises himself up a bit, pushing his hat from his eyes.

He folds his arms across his chest.

They just give him a bland look. Get to the point, friend.

Trouble laughs quietly.

They sober a little and look over to him.
"I don't doubt you believe that. But time away from the Barge and time on board do not pass at the same speed."

He's getting dangerously close to a bit too emotional.
"I won't leave you without someone you can go to. There someone you trust?"
He's already asked Misty, but he does want them to have a say, even if it's not the whole say.

"Mm? Yes, of course," they tell him. "Anyway, you needn't concern yourself about me, I'm very self sufficient."

He sets his jaw at that.

"Don't what?" Trouble's voice is a little sharper. "Is it so hard to believe that I'm actually trying to reassure you?"
